Retail Establishment Website!

Brief:

Choose a real life local example of a trading retail establishment….restaurant, clothes shop, music venue, bar, dry cleaners, clock shop pawnbrokers.. whatever…
Must be a currently active establishment.
Does not have to have a current website operating.
Research then design and build a xhtml/css website to WC3 standards in 14 days!

Chosen website: 'Shimla Pinks' (indian restaurant) http://www.shimla-pinks.com/index.html

Reason: All the 'Shimla Pinks' restaurant websites are modern and updated, APART from the Leicester restaurant. Which looks boring, old and very out of placed!!!
Each website they've produced has been different from one another and each has a different colour scheme, navigation etc.
I think this website will able me to show off my skills and knowledge and do it the way I want to without worrying whether it will fit in with the rest of the 'Shimla Pinks' websites. In addition due to me living in Leicester myself and having been to the restaurant, I would have more understanding of the place and the atmosphere. As well as what sort of audience would be looking at the site.

Aim:
My aim is to create a simple, sophisticated and modern looking Indian cuisine website. I am mainly going to focus on the layout and how everything is placed, due to the current website being very out of placed. I am going to start off looking at different types of Indian cuisine websites and take into account how they've interpreted the colour variations, type, space etc...
