Client Project - Brief Description

My client for the project is going to be 'Bar Sirius'.

‘Bar Sirius’ is one of Leicester well known bar’s that has a mixed cultured fan base, from middle to upper class. Opened in April 2009, the bar has gone from strength to strength.

The bar holds student nights every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday which tends to be very successful.

Recently the bar has launched the ‘Tiger Style’ night, every Saturday. This has not caught every ones attention as expected. This is mainly due to the bar not having an official website, which has limited the online promotions and any other social media that would enhance the target audience.

The website needs to have links to online social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, which would boost the online interactivity and also promote the bar well.

Digital Piracy - Simulated Project - Final Piece

Evaluation
I found the simulated project very interesting and different, as it was something different to what I have created in the past. Even though it was hard to create, I think this was one of my best pieces of work so far. As I had to make sure every thing I did was rightly added on the time line in FLASH CS3.
I was a little disappointed that I could not add a time in my FLASH game. Even though I had the right codes, it kept on messing up the game display. However I do think there is a solution for this problem and I aim to improve it in my spare time.

Digital Piracy - Simulated Project - Piracy Images

Here are few Piracy Images that I have developed for my website. I tried to create a catchy emotion in most of the pictures, so that the message is simple and clear.

Digital Piracy - Simulated Project - Game Page and Button

Below are screen shots of my currently developed website. I decided to add a retro style game (simple and to the point)... where the student has to shoot the CDs to score a point.
I had to slice the 'GAME' button in Photoshop, to make it look realistic. I officially tried to create a link, directly in Dreamweaver. However I was unable to create the same button effect as Photoshop.

Digital Piracy - Simulated Project - Current Design Screenshot

Here is a screen shot of my recent design with the television.

Digital Piracy - Simulated Project - Designs

These are my design ideas for my 'Digital Piracy project'. I am currently working on the television in FLASH. The problems I am coming across at the moment are;

1)Making the Television go Fuzzy! ...(Seen few tutorials, where the fuzzy effect can be made using a light box).
2)Making the time line play everything at the right time.

I aim to solve these problems by looking at my previous projects and tutorials...
